Telecom Italia
Giving technical content a visual form.

Concept and illustration,
subject by subject.
For Telecom Italia’s Notiziario tecnico, working through Peliti & Associati, I developed illustrations over several years for subjects related to networks, telecommunications and emerging technologies. The topics were often highly specialised, and some of the technologies involved were still at an early stage.
For each assignment, I developed both the concept and the illustration, turning technical and abstract content into images that were immediate, self-contained and visually strong. The aim was not simply to translate a subject into pictures, but to find a visual form that could give it clarity and character.
One project, different visual languages.
I did not apply a fixed style to the publication. Structure, tone and visual approach changed with the subject, while the way I conceived and constructed the image provided continuity. The selected covers, published between 2010 and 2015, show this range.

Other ways of giving technology a visual form.
The same approach extended to the internal illustrations: technical content became metaphor, narrative situations or visual systems rather than literal technical imagery.
